Booking Policy

It is imperative that you read this agreement in its entirety carefully and in detail before booking a trip. The information contained herein provides important information regarding the purchase of your Safari including, but not limited to, our right to cancel or modify the Safari, the cancellation and refund policies, and a limitation on liability. Our agreement with you is summarised in the following sections under Customer Support.
Agreement: Unless otherwise specified, this Agreement constitutes the entire understanding and agreement between you, the trip participant, and Expeditions By Twelve concerning any and all bookings, safaris, including but not limited to Private departures.
The terms and conditions of this agreement apply to all persons named in this booking (Participants). You acknowledge that by making a reservation, you have made all the other participants in your group aware of these terms and conditions, regardless of how the payment is made.
Payments and Acceptance of Bookings: A non-refundable booking fee of 15% is required when confirming a Safari, this fee will go towards your final payment.
A further deposit of 35% is required 180 days prior to the start of your Safari. Thereafter a payment of 25% will be required 120 days prior to the start of your Safari. The final payment of 25% will be required 90 days prior to the start of your Safari. For cancellation and refunds please see policy.
If full payment is not received when due, Expeditions By Twelve reserves the right to cancel your Safari and apply cancellation fees as per our guidelines stated in the section for cancelations and refunds. A booking is not final or confirmed until you receive an email confirmation from us.
We reserve the right to decline any booking for any reason we reasonably see fit to do so. Pricing, inclusions, and exclusions: Your detailed itinerary will state clearly what is included in your Safari as well as what is not included.
